nerfing engi will make the race totally pointless im against ALL of those ideas...its easy enough to kill an engi why make the race into junk? just because u think a race is "annoying' doesnt mean its unbalanced it just means u dont like the way the race is designed to be played...this also includes ppl wanting to nerf DOGs gravity gun without the gravity gun the dog would be totally useless...
personally, all i would like to be added is the walk slow the mine won't do anything.
unless ofcourse youve already been hit by one.

the race is already the most tactical race on the server....it has a measily 33 hp which can be one hit killed by anything with chain lightning or pikachu....im not sure why slow races need to be immune to their mines...it would make it impossible for engi to kill them let alone have to wait until they get their mines again to use....the race is fine....just my opinion tho...

untrue actually because i use engi gob on other maps besides office. what i dont understand is the ideas of nerfing races THAT DONT NEED THEM!! engi goblin is so easy to kill yet you want to nerf it just because you the race annoys you just because a race "annoys" you doesnt mean it needs nerfing.
or that ant lion race that regen health at a very quick rate....ppl are just mad the race they are playing cant compete against engi ppl need to realise that your going to need to be able to use and KNOW how to use certain races to counter others...its not a "il use this race forever and get very good at it and pwn everyone with it" type of server.
and if you bring up the excuse of "oh but im leveling a new race i cant kill anyone" thats why you have the option of dying every 2 rounds which sucks yes but you can save up your money and buy tombs to lvl off of until lvl 10 which should start you on your way to killing higher leveled players for even more experience.....this server does not walk you through leveling new races it gives you that free 30 lvls which us veterans didnt even get when we started and we had to work our asses all the way up. we vets have all been on this server for 2+ years to achieve our total lvls and we dont take kindly to bitching and complaining from new players and some old ones that want everything fucking nerfed because they cant handle a beating...you suck it up and you try and level as best you can you get a few levels every day and it adds up....
its any engi goblin? Anyway... Uh the only thing I'm ok with is the ward like idea. Not coloring it and not evading it. That to me would be fine. It doesn't need a nerf...
The only time i have a problem with this race is when people purposly bend the rules to get away with things. For example in office they will mine one entrance to the hostages then go and guard the other entrance and plant mines while "attacking" other people so both sides end up fully mined. or they will sit right next to the hostages the whole map and when someone finally is there they mine the hostages like crazy. This is pretty much my only complaint about the class and other then that i feel it doesnt need to change much. A nice addition might be diff color mines if its CT or T.
The rules for hostages should be edited to, you may not mine the hostages or anyone in the initial hostage room, but once they leave the initial hostage room then you may "attack" them with mines. This would clear up any gray area of "oh but I was attacking" and having the entire hostage room mined.
