some have recently asked me if it was against the rules to join this server, be the only one there, and proceed to rescue hostages or plant the bomb. i told them as far as i could see it was not against the rules. there is one rule pertaining to stat/level padding:
9. Stat/Level padding will get you kicked and then banned if you ever do it again. This includes finding a friend to who lets you kill him, either to raise your rank or to level up faster. You want to do that go to an empty server and have fun wasting your time.
nowhere in that rule does it state that it is against the rules to do your objective, if you are the only player on the server.
maybe TC feels otherwise. If this is the case, please post your opinion here TC.
lol earl they are doing there objective so if it is against the rules thats saying your not allowed to do your objective. Now to answer your question no its not against the rule to do that why is it your fault no one is on and you want to play. It takes a long time to level up that way lol.

thats what i told the people whom were asking. apparantly someone got banned for it though....
Yeah, afaik it only pertains to like you and one other person(s) that don't do anything and just let them kill you for free xp over and over, making a rule against planting the bomb or such would be silly imo because yeah like Cerb said it takes FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Uh also I'd see it against the rules if say one person was letting the other plant. Like hey you go A and plant I won't go kill you. Or Hey save 3 hosties! That I'd see to be against the rules. But alone in the server no... Gotta let the single person do something they're trying to populate the server at least !
